Richard Tonkin has been in many South Australian bands and his name appears on some 25 released CD’s. He’s Chief Photocopying Assistant to the Adelaide Ukulele Society and teaches workshops ranging from complete beginners to how to play Celtic tunes on ukulele, always treating the music with the sense of fun that the ukulele deserves.

Note from me (Lynne White)

It was Richard and the Adelaide Ukulele Society that inspired us  to start the Sunshine Coast Ukulele Masters back in 2009, so allow me to record our thanks and gratitude to Richard and the AUS for bringing such fun, happiness and music into so many lives.
